Schedule:         11:00am – Industry representatives arrive and set up

                            11:30am – School–Industry Partnerships session begins

                            12:30pm – Industry Lightning Talks commence

                            1:05pm – Industry Marketplace and networking lunch begins

                            2:00pm – Networking lunch concludes; pack-down and departure

Questacon STEM Futures 2-Day Workshop

A key focus of the Questacon STEM Futures program is building impactful partnerships between industry and schools—bringing real-world STEM into classrooms to inspire the next generation of innovators and ensure a thriving STEM future for both industry and education. As part of our upcoming workshop, we are hosting a dedicated session on School–Industry Partnerships, with a focus on showcasing local opportunities for collaboration.

We are inviting representatives from local industries to get involved by either:

• Delivering a short presentation, or
• Hosting a stall during our networking lunch.

This is a fantastic opportunity to share your work, connect with educators, and explore meaningful ways to engage with schools in the region.

Industry Lightning Talks

Industry representatives are invited to deliver a 3-minute “lightning talk” covering:

• A brief overview of your organisation
• Potential partnership opportunities for schools (e.g. resources, one-off or long-term engagements)
• How schools can connect with your organisation or access your offerings

Industry Marketplace

Following the presentations, we’ll host a networking lunch where organisations can contribute to a shared table display. This is a chance to showcase resources, promotional materials, and further engage with workshop participants.
