Garbutt State School

Current programs include the Australia Curriculum, chaplaincy, Giggle & Grow playgroup, Transition to Prep, daily Breakfast and lunch, PCYC lunchtime games and Swim top Survive. Book packs are provided for every student at the beginning of each year. Encouraging attendance is a big focus - every day counts. Cowboys support the school with the Try for 5 attendance program. Teachers and students encourage each other to attend regularly and awards are given to promote good attendance. Garbutt State School offers dedicated teachers and small classes and we aim high for all of our students to achieve. We are committed to being responsible, respectful and safe. And are striving toward a sustainable future.
