Climate change is one of the greatest threats to the health and resilience of the Great Barrier Reef — but there is still hope. Students play a vital role in protecting the Reef and supporting its recovery.
This educational series encourages students to:
- Understand the impacts of climate change on the Great Barrier Reef
- Take meaningful environmental action in their local communities
- Build a connection with nature and contribute to long-term sustainability
Every action matters — big or small. By learning about the challenges facing the Reef and the importance of environmental stewardship, students can help the Reef recover from past damage and better withstand future threats.
Ideal for educators, schools, and young changemakers, this series supports science and sustainability education while inspiring the next generation of conservation leaders.
