Dingo State School is situated in the township of Dingo, in the Central Highlands region. The school is situated on the corner of Kennedy and Normanby streets and was founded in 1876. In 2006, the Prep year was introduced and in 2016 we incorporated a highly successful State Delivery Kindergarten program.
Dingo offers a diverse curriculum that covers all key learning areas as well as specialised subjects such as Japanese, music and instrumental music. The school also has a comprehensive physical education program and provides religious education. The Dingo State School staff is highly trained, enthusiastic and committed to providing quality education for the students. The school offers a range of visiting support teachers who oversee a range of intervention programs for students.
The school is at the forefront of the technology age and has an excellent (2:1) student to computer equipment ratio. Students are actively encouraged to increase their proficiency in this key learning area.
