North Eton State School is a proud small school who is taking learners from today and turning them into the leaders of tomorrow.
Established in 1895, our school has a long and proud history of excellence within the Pioneer Valley. Opened to cater for the North Eton Mill workers children and later, children of the Kinchant Dam workers, the school has seen enrolments of over 100.
Eleven years after the school was opened a school inspector reported, “The children attending this school are decidedly happy, earnest and hopeful. Bright smiling faces show loving goodwill for and confidence in their teacher. Tasks are performed promptly, quietly and accurately and neatly. The general condition of the school is progressive and very satisfactory”, 107 years later, the staff continue to take pride in knowing that this is still the case.
