This short video (4 mins) examines the role of the Reef Authority who have been managing the Great Barrier Reef since 1975, and the Traditional owners who have been caretakers of the Reef for thousands of years. We are now working together along with schools, local government, tourism agencies, as well and many others to protect the reef through education, zoning, compliance and innovation interventions.
