Annual Action User Guide

Each year Reef Guardian schools around Australia and the world are asked to capture their efforts of action in sustainability towards a resilient reef for the future and intergenerational change. We ask that you capture this in an Action Plan in the Portal.  The Action Plan has a variety of ideas of what schools could plan for and can be used as a check list to make it fast and simple for busy teachers. We understand that schools are very busy, and we recognise all schools take some actions, whether big or small, and that all actions contribute to a sustainable future and reef. From litter free lunches to growing gardens, to solar panels, to simply embedding teaching and learning of sustainability into your curriculum, every action helps. Once a year we report on the number and type of annual actions that are being completed across the world to showcase the collective actions that Reef Guardians are taking.
