Connect with scientists on CSIRO research vessel (RV) Investigator during its Great Barrier Reef expedition.
Bring seafloor science into your classroom! Join researchers onboard the RV Investigator as they explore the seafloor of the southern Great Barrier Reef. Shaped by over 20,000 years of sea-level change, the region holds ecological, geological and cultural stories - from submerged river valleys to reef systems formed as seas flooded the continental shelf.1
Through mapping and sampling the seabed, this research will provide culturally important insight into the marine landscapes in Darumbal and Woppaburra Sea Country and improve understanding of how conditions have changed over time.
These webinars will be in the final week of the voyage; the perfect time to hear from the science team, learn about the expedition highlights and what it is like to live and work on a research vessel on the Great Barrier Reef.
