Task 3: Timeframes
When developing and implementing your Communications Plan your team will need to be very organised to deliver all products on time. PERT and Gantt Charts are two systems used to plan and manage projects. Your Marketing Company will need to develop PERT and Gantt Charts to plan and manage your various projects.

Task 4: Communication tools / tactics
Communication tools and tactics are going to be the vehicles that your team uses to deliver your key messages to your identified Target Markets and Key Stakeholders. Your Communications Plan needs to contain examples of the following tools/tactics:
- A logo, slogan and mission statement
This needs to capture the ideals of Pollution Solutions.
- A power-point presentation or website
This will highlight the many different types of pollution and threats that they cause to the marine environment. It should also highlight how humans can minimise or prevent each type of pollution.
- Children's Illustrated Storybook
A storybook for 4 - 6 year olds about caring for the Great Barrier Reef.
- Advertisement - Community Service Announcement or TV commercial, billboard and newspaper
Highlighting that the reef is under pressure from marine pollution and that we all need to act now to protect the reef and keep it great.
- Community Information Poster / Display
This display is to highlight the types of marine pollution and the negative impacts that they have. The poster or display should also encourage people to use best environmental practices.
- Solutions Brochure
A brochure or flyer for distribution within the local community about marine pollution and what they can do to protect the reef.
