Reef Guides & Presenters
Get into groups of 4.
At Reef HQ each member of your group will conduct an interpretative talk (presentation) about a Great Barrier Reef animal, plant or Reef HQ theme. The members of your group will be your audience and you will be theirs. You won't be using a picture book or photos to get your message across. You will be using real, living, breathing animals!
Your presentation, including question time, should range from 2 - 5 minutes.
You may choose from these subjects:
- Predators;
- Sharks;
- Coral Reefs;
- Food;
- Light;
- Adaptations;
- Water;
- Fish Behaviour;
- Seagrass - Seahorses, razorfish, sea hares, tube anemones, pipefish;

Please Note: The display of some species may change due to husbandry (breeding) reasons.
Visit www.reefHQ.com.au for information about Reef HQ themes.
You will also need to produce a (Power Point) presentation on your chosen topic. This will be done individually and will be presented to the teacher after the visit to the aquarium. You could present it to another class, parents, administration or even send it to us at Reef HQ.
You may need some pictures for your presentation, so why not take a camera to Reef HQ so you can capture them yourself?
