Registration & Action Plans
To start your journey as a Reef Guardian School each year there a number of initial pieces of information that your school is required to complete and send back to the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority.
Step 1: Register as a Reef Guardian School.
Download your Reef Guardian School Registration Form. Complete the Registration Form with as much detail as possible.
Registration Forms should be returned no later than the end of Week 3, Term 1.

Step 2: Complete your Reef Guardian Action Plan for the year ahead.
Your action plan is very important because it allows you and your students to plan your Reef Guardian activities for the year. Your action plan is also very good for us here at the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority because it give us an indication of the types of projects/activities you would like to participate in and we can offer as much support as we can to ensure that they are successful. Note: All Reef Guardian Action Plans should be sent back to the Education Team at the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority by the end of Term 1.
Schools that register for the Reef Guardian Schools programme after Term 1 should complete and send back their action plan as soon as possible after registration.
Your Registration Form and Action Plan can faxed or emailed back to the Education Team at the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority.
