Lantana Busters!

Description
On Wednesday the 12th of September we went to our revegitation site at Sandfly Creek. We were pulling out a Lantana; a weed that can kill other plants, by taking up all their space to grow. It was very important for us to pull it out otherwise it will kill a lot of the native plants.

Marvellous Mulch is Tree-Mendous

Description
For schools Tree Day and afterwards, Year 6D have been keen to do lots of mulching of the Native Trail garden. They had fun too. At the end of 2006 we had regenerated and expanded the Native Trail after Cyclone Larry. The garden at the front of our school is an attractive cool shady place. The trees are named and students can learn about trees and their importance inthe environment.
